Our roots
In 1932, sixteen schoolteachers created a safe place to save and provide low-cost loans to fellow teachers and their families—Portland Teachers Credit Union.
Our growth
In 2005, OnPoint received a community charter in Oregon and Southwest Washington and took the OnPoint Community Credit Union name to reflect that broader field of membership.
Our commitment
OnPoint serves communities including Portland, Vancouver, Eugene, and Bend. We are the largest member-owned financial institution headquartered in Oregon. Our Story currently lists more than 671,751 members; the 2025 Annual Report reported more than 637,000 members at year-end 2025.
