Awareness guide
Scam awareness
What to watch for
Scammers commonly send emails or texts that imitate a credit union and urge you to click a link to “restore access,” then harvest usernames, passwords, or one-time codes on a lookalike website.
Warning signs
- Urgent language about locked accounts or unusual login attempts
- Links that do not match OnPoint’s official domain
- Requests for passwords, full card numbers, or one-time passcodes
- Poor grammar, generic greetings, or unexpected attachments
What to do
- Do not click the link or enter credentials
- Open Digital Banking only from this official website bookmark
- Contact Member Services using a published phone number if you are unsure
- Report the message as phishing in your email or messaging app
