- 61% of Oregonians surveyed could not correctly answer more than three questions on a five-question financial literacy test. Source
- 52% of Oregonians did not have an emergency savings fund (vs. about half of Americans in the cited comparison). Source
- 19% of Oregonians spent more than their income (vs. 18% of Americans in the cited comparison). Source
- At publication, Oregon was not among states requiring high schools to offer personal finance courses (22 states did). Source
